Does anyone else wish that we always had Monday and Friday off? If the work week was Tuesday through Thursday I am pretty sure that I would be just as productive, if not more productive, as I am on a usual work day. I spent my Monday sleeping in, watching the storms here in Dallas, and making a trip to my favorite stores Dillard’s and Whole Foods.

These pink peonies make the perfect addition to my coffee table and made paying bills a little bit more delightful from my desk this dreary afternoon. I also picked up this simple pair of Gianni Bini Black Pumps at Dillard’s. I know this sounds crazy, but I have never owned a quality pair of black pumps. I have been searching for just the right pair and ended up loving these! I can’t wait to sport them to work and out and about with a simple pair of dark wash jeans. I am ending the evening with a few of my guilty pleasures, a glass of prosecco and the Bachelorette. Couldn’t have ask for a better Monday off!
