I love shopping for Christmas presents! My bank account, on the other hand, does not! Here is a list of ideas for those 20-somethings out there living on a budget and trying to find the perfect gifts! Happy Shopping!
Gifts for Her:
Alex and Ani Braclets are 100% made in the good ole USA! They range in price and each bracelet has a different meaning behind it. Find one that symbolizes something special and stack them up for a cute accessory.
DIY Flannel Scarf (tutorial to follow later this week!) This is a super easy way to make something yourself and save some cash! Everyone loves a good scarf and flannel ones are hard to find.
Succulent Plant Wall Hanging. This is such a great way to bring life and color inside. Not many people would expect this as a gift but it would look great in any home and is easy to take care of.
Rifle Paper Co. Recipe Boxes are one of my favorite things. Instead of splurging on a $120 recipe box simply make your own recipe box by staining and painting a $10 wooden box from Hobby Lobby and fill it with your favorite family recipes!
Grilled Cheese and Soup Plate. In college every one of my sorority sisters would have LOVED to have this! Possibly the greatest invention of all time. Especially for those dreary winter days ahead of us.
Statement Necklaces are great and you can customize them for each person! (like this one from http://www.baublebar.com).
Volcano Candles. I have had one in my apartment since LAST year and I burn it just about every day. These smell amazing and the design of the candle is cute too. http://www.anthropology.com
Gifts for Him:
There’s no doubt about it…guys are hard to shop for! Here are some things that never go out of style.
Personalized Dop Kit. These are timeless and every man needs a great shaving kit to travel with and to keep at the house. http://www.izola.com
Most guys are pretty bummed that No Shave November is over. Might as well get them inspired for next November with this adorable mug.
No more wasted toothpaste! If the guys in your life are as stingy with their money as the ones in mine are they will appreciate a tool like this to squeeze out every last drop of toothpaste.
Baseball Bat Bottle Opener. You can pick a bat used from their favorite team that has been re purposed into a bottle opener!
Rein-Beer…just too cute not to do. I made these last year and I will say be careful with the superglue!
Cards Against Humanity. Never gets old and always a fun time! A must have for nights where you don’t want to go out and spend a bunch of money but still want to have the gang together!

This is a bit of splurge but Patagonia is such a great brand and every guy needs a good Patagonia fleece. If you don’t want to splurge on the jacket go for the trucker hat. These will still be in style and will hold up for the next 30 years.
